Do you cut the plastics you sell?

We cut the plastics sheets while you wait. In most cases, it typically only takes 10-15 minutes for basic straight cuts. We do not however cut FRP.

How do I clean the plastic unit I just purchased?

Do not use Windex® or any similar glass cleaning products. Most of these cleaners have ingredients that will attack the plastic and cause it to discolor or craze. A mild soap and water may be used with a soft cloth such as microfiber or an old t-shirt. Contact us for any additional questions you may have about the care and cleaning of your plastic unit. 

If I submit a request for a quote, how long until I see a response?

You will receive a response within 24 - 48 hours. Please note - Quotes requiring special order material may take longer as we need to source out the material at the best price possible. 

What are your production lead times?

The lead times are 1 week for cut to size products and 3 weeks for fabrication. Let us know if you require a rush job; we will try our best to accommodate to meet your deadline.

What colors of FRP do you have?

We stock white, ivory and grey, textured sheets, in a variety of sizes. Custom colors can be ordered in upon request. Note- Lead times may be involved. 

What is the difference between Acrylic and Polycarbonate?

Both come standard clear. However, Polycarbonate is impact resistant, while acrylic is a brittle material. Acrylic is by no means a scratch resistant sheet, however it will not scratch AS EASY as the polycarbonate. 

What is the difference between Acrylic, Plexiglas, and Perspex, etc.?

Nothing, they are all the same! Acrylic is the material name; Plexiglas is a trade name or manufacturer name. Just like Polycarbonate is the material name; Lexan™ or Makrolon® are trade names (ex. tissue – Kleenex®). 

Why was my Acrylic shipped as blue? I ordered clear.

Most of our sheet stock comes with a protective masking on it, either blue/green poly or a paper. Simply peel it off, and your scratch free material is underneath.
